Will any of the new certification criteria required at a future date affect channels that are already certified or published?

Channels in violation of the latest certification requirements are not grandfathered in, even if the last update was published before those requirements went into effect.

If a channel's production version does not meet the latest certification requirements by the required date, that channel is in violation and will be blocked from publishing future updates. If a channel is not compliant with the latest certification requirements, you will need to update your channel before new certification requirements go into effect.

Roku has the right to remove any channels that are not in compliance with our public certification requirements but will not do so without also notifying the channel's developer.
