Why do I need to submit/resubmit my channel package for publishing?

Clarity needed on the reason that it is necessary to submit/resubmit a channel package prior to publishing.

Answer

Any time the following scenarios occur, a new channel package must be submitted for publishing by clicking the Submit for Publishing button in the Developer Dashboard:

• Initial submission for channel launch.
• Channel is rejected, based on certification results. 
• Channel submission is cancelled by developer in Developer Dashboard. 

Your channel will not be tested by the Certification team if it is not submitted for publishing first.

For channel submissions previously cancelled or rejected, your channel will not be placed in the testing queue unless you notify Partner Success.
