Testing in-Channel subscriptions without charging.
Partners are expected to have a test account set up for the purpose of testing purchases. Please see our page on Creating test users for information on how to set up your test account and testing in-channel purchases.
For international partners testing transactions from different regions:
It is not necessary to test an individual in-channel product across multiple regions unless you are using region-specific products (e.g. Canada offers a Canadian subscription product, US offers a US subscription product, etc).
If your offers differentiating products across regions, you will need to create multiple Roku accounts while connected to a VPN associated with each respective region (e.g. connect to a Canada VPN, then create a Canadian Roku account). Testing the product will then follow the same process as described in Testing Roku Pay.
